Appointing a Lawyer

It is wise to appoint a lawyer who is fluent in your language so that you fully understand all the legalities and proceedings. Our partners will gladly recommend a good lawyer in the country you are purchasing in who will carry out all the necessary checks on the property and complete the legal requirements of the sale.

As the recommended lawyer has good local knowledge of the area in addition to the legal process, the process is usually quicker and cheaper than appointing a UK lawyer, who in turn will need to appoint a local lawyer, delaying the process and adding to your legal costs.
